"He's from the south of California, his CV lists at least four Woody Guthrie tribute albums and he's signed by Jackson Browne's label. You might have a hunch of where it's going? And if then the songs of protest, a prime point of reference in John Steinbeck, and the fact that David Crosby & Graham Nash are singing the national anthem of the United States in the background of a antiwar-track, make you decide that this has got to be an excellent folk country record from 1971, then you're absolutely right! Except from possibly the year of recording..."
