Midwest Record Recap

Volume 28 / Number 12
April 28, 2005

A hard core fan of Woody Guthrie's takes on a second helping of tribute to his hero, this time fleshing it out with other extra touches and enough of the 70's WB crew to make this seem like something that came out of deep storage, but didn't. Adding his own songs as well, Rafael keeps the dust off the Guthrie legacy in fine style. A tasty set for contemporary folk fans that aren't afraid to have one eye looking back and one looking ahead.
